I think in your unconcioius mind you are afraid of inter relation between your bf and his family and you feel be involved. throw water with angry feeling at you is negative energy from his father targeting you. I dont know details about how is your relationship with his family but there might be some tension or have been some resentimont in the past. so the brain tries to file away things.
